Stanežiče - Sveti Jakob

This nice and easy trail starts next to Golf Stanežiče. You can park for free next to the street workout. If there's no space left, you can park your car at P+R Stanežiče - cash & card accepted. You'll start your trail on the gravel next to the road and continue towards the houses. You'll return to the road and then turn left in the middle of the village where the first ascent starts. It won't take you long before you reach the top and start descending towards the next village. You'll continue through and turn left on the main road, where you won't stay for long. You'll turn right, start ascending, and leave the road by turning left into the forest. You'll continue through the forest on the path that's continuously ascending, but without any very steep parts. When you leave the forest, the first views towards Polhograjski Dolomiti will open. You'll slide right and continue on the gravel. You'll leave the gravel path to ascend towards the cross. Once you're there, you'll descend over the meadow and reach the main trail, taking you to the turning point at Sveti Jakob. When going back, you'll return using the main walking trail that goes below the meadow, through the village, and then returns to the path that you used on the way to Sveti Jakob.
